Urban Ethnography Lab

The Urban Ethnography Lab is an initiative by scholars from the Humboldt University’s Georg Simmel Center for Metropolitan Studies, the Institute for Contemporary Design Practices HGK in Basel, the Department of Social and Cultural Geography from Humboldt-University of Berlin and University of Toronto’s Ethnography Lab.

As one of the Urban Research Groups at the Georg-Simmel Center for Metropolitan Studies the Urban Ethnography Lab is a growing centre that promotes ethnographic research methods in the interdisciplinary section of urban studies.
